At IBC 2019, Ignite Digi released two new versatile powering solutions with the TB50 Hammerhead & Power Expansion Pack for MōVI Pro.

The Hammerhead is a first of its kind, featuring 15V and dual voltage 15V/20-25V outputs giving users the ability to power any high draw camera setup.

USB-C (PD) and USB-A (QC) outputs have also been integrated for charging laptops, phones & other accessories on set or in transit. Powered by DJI’s intelligent TB50 batteries, each battery is travel-friendly (97.58Wh each) and can be hot-swapped on the Hammerhead.

You can also use the 20-28V DC input to power the whole system from the 28V output of a VCLX block battery or 24V power supply.

Pricing and Availability (TB50 Hammerhead)

The TB50 Hammerhead retails for $1,750.00 AUD (~$1200 USD) and is available for purchase now, directly from Ignite Digi’s online store.

DJI TB50 batteries retail for $160 USD each.

The Power Expansion Pack has been released as an upgrade extension to Ignite Digi’s TB50 Adapters for MōVI Pro. Ignite Digi’s TB50 Adapters double the run time of the MōVI Pro gimbal, with the new Expansion Pack taking power from the TB50 adapters 20-25V Lemo outputs. Positioned on the gimbal’s spine, the Power Expansion pack provides MōVI Pro users with a range of additional outputs and will power any camera & accessory package users could possibly run on the gimbal.

The Power Expansion Pack for MōVI Pro is designed to be used in combination with Freefly Systems MōVI Pro and Ignite Digi’s TB50 Battery Adapters for MōVI Pro (Lemo version) which retail for $1,220 AUD (~$830 USD)

The Power Expansion Pack for MōVI Pro retails for $720 AUD (~$496 USD) and includes a 3 pin feed cable to take the dual voltage from the adapter to the tilt cage.

Available for preorder now, with the first batch delivering late September, directly from Ignite Digi’s online store.
