High-speed USB 2.0 up to 480Mbps passes through over HDBaseT with zero delay. “USB transmission latency is a key factor to judge whether a KVM solution is feasible or not. Our KVM extender transmits USB signal over HDBaseT with virtually no latency, so users can operate their keyboard and mouse very smoothly”, added Mandy.
What’s more, the extender supports bi-directional stereo audio, RS232 and EDID pass through over HDBaseT. With 48V PoE integrated, only a single power adapter is required at the TX side to powers both units. Its 12V power adapter is secured with a screw-on connector to prevent the power being accidentally disconnected.
