Optoma has announced two new projectors as part of its DuraCore laser ProScene range, the ZU820T and ZU725T. The mid-range WUXGA projectors have a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio and a 1.25 to 2.1 throw ratio, projecting images from 60-in to 200-in (~152 to 508 cm) wide. Both models are designed for professional use and follow in the footsteps of the ZU920TST device.

The new products have many similar features to their predecessors, such as precise colors, 4K and HDR compatibility. They are also bright, with a laser light source lasting up to 30,000 hours in Eco mode. The ZU820T has up to 8,800 lumens brightness, while the ZU725T has a maximum brightness of 7,800 lumens. Other features of the projectors include a fully motorized 1.6X zoom, focus and lens shift. Plus, you can perfect the image with edge blending, warping, four-corner correction, and horizontal and vertical keystone correction tools.

You can connect devices to the gadget via HDMI, HDBaseT, VGA and audio ports. The projectors have two built-in 10 W speakers and can run quietly, with an average noise output of 34 dB. The products measure 19.13 x 17.03 x 6.93-in (~486 x 433 x 176 mm) and weigh around 30.9 lbs (~14.0 kg). The Optoma ZU820T and ZU725T projectors are now available in the US for US$6,299 and US$5,299, respectively.
